A big thank you to all who attended the charity quiz in aid of Minehead Museum, held at Minehead Social Club on Friday 27th February. It was great to see so many people at what is the curtain raiser for the Museum’s season and as usual a very enjoyable evening was had by all. Many thanks also to all the active volunteers who helped with the setting of the questions, publicity, scoring and selling raffle tickets on the night. The quiz was one by the “Fuji Four” Judith Groves, Fred Groves, Paddy O’Sullivan and Merv Hillier who topped thirteen other teams, mainly of six players, to win bottles of wine. The quiz and accompanying raffle raised over £400 toward the running costs of the museum.
